How to reach us

by plane

  • Starting from airport Frankfurt on the A5 motorway (direction Hannover/Westkreuz). The A5 motorway automatically merges with the A7. Continue on the A7 and then take the exit “Berlin/Dresden/Erfurt/Bad Hersfeld/A4” to follow the A4 to Jena. Leave it at the exit Jena-Zentrum, further see instructions for arriving with car.
  • Starting from airport Munich on the A9 motorway to the north (direction Berlin/Dresden/Bayreuth) up to the Hermsdorfer Kreuz. Here you have to change the motorway, follow the A4 motorway westward (direction Frankfurt) and leave it at the exit Jena-Zentrum, further see instructions for arriving with car.
  • Starting from airport Berlin on the A9 motorway to the south (direction Munich) up to the Hermsdorfer

by car

  • Leave the A4 motorway at the exit Jena-Zentrum, follow the federal highway B 88 into town. Follow the direction signs “Jena Zentrum”. Near and in the city center you can find several parking areas.

by train and city bus

If you take the route from north to south you will arrive at the train station “Jena Paradies”. This train station is the closest to all venues during the MOC2022 in Jena. From there the venues are reachable by foot.

If you take the route from west to east, leave the train at Jena-Westbahnhof.

  • There is a bus stop near the exit to the east of the station. From there, bus line 15 (direction: Rautal) passes the center of Jena. Get off the bus stop “Stadtzentrum Löbdergraben”.
  • Approximately 100 m to the left of this bus stop is another bus stop at a main street (Westbahnhofstrasse), which is served by other bus lines (10, 11, 12, direction: Jena Stadtzentrum) that go to the city center. Get off at the bus stop “Stadtzentrum Teichgraben”.
  • The way from Westbahnhof to the city center can also be done on foot (about 10 min). Just follow the main street Westbahnhofstraße downwards.

by coach

Next to the train station “Jena Paradies” is also Jena’s bus station. Get off there if you are traveling by coach. From there the venues are reachable by foot.
